Meet the Horses
Destiny
Destiny chose Santana as her partner in 2009 when she arrived to do a music benefit for horses that were gathered up to be sold in Colorado. It was Santana’s understanding the herd was either wild or ferrel. The moment they laid eyes on each other, the partnership began. Destiny joined up with Santana after she sang Amazing Grace, and they have been in partnership since that day. Destiny is an amazing healer and always shows up to partner with Santana in coaching the client.
Belle
Our beautiful Belle was found at a horse expo in which the owner was also an Equine Gestalt Coach and looking to find the right home for her. She has been with Santana since 2012 and continues to offer her love and support to whomever is in need. Her gentle and soft nature allows the client to feel safe and supported by this beautiful girl.
Cheyenne
Cheyenne is also a rescued horse and has expressed his gratitude every day. He also chose Santana to be his partner, and it was obvious the day she met him, he wasn’t going to let her leave without accepting him as her family. He is kind, very curious and will be the first one to greet visitors! He’s affectionate and loves attention. Cheyenne is an incredible healer. I didn’t know when I rescued him that he and Destiny are siblings. My promise to them is they will never be separated. I have kept that promise for 10 years.
Romeo
Romeo is a mini horse rescued at 6 months of age. He continues to be the prankster, curious, and has been by Juliet’s side since the day after he was born. They were born one day apart. They are inseparable. Romeo has personality plus, has a great disposition and is always ready to play!
Juliet
Our little Miss Juliet is a more serious horse by nature. She is the “nurse” on the property who is always concerned with the health of other animals and people. She’s quite vocal when she wants your attention. Juliet is one of the smallest mini horses I’ve seen, but don’t let her size fool you, as she is also a horse with boundaries.
Zeus
Our little boy Zeus came to us 5 years ago. He has had trust issues as he was rescued from slaughter. It has taken Santana 5 years of working with him to get him to stand quietly to be haltered. Now, he waits for her every day at the gate to come halter him and take him for a walk! Zeus has taught her patience for sure. He is a wise little horse, and notices everything that is going on with the herd as well as the property. Zeus misses nothing!
Wisdom
Meet Wisdom our little Gypsy Vanner at 11 months in this photo. He showed up in a miraculous way for Santana on her birthday. At first glance, she knew he was meant to be part of her healing herd. At first she didn’t notice the cross on his side, and now he is known for wearing his cross. He has a gentle disposition, curious about everything, and always ready to greet everyone who visits. He believes everyone is here to see him!
